Antoine & Antoinette

One evening in Paris, 1947, Antoine Moulin (Roger Pigaut), a printer, finds a winning lottery ticket in the handbag of his girlfriend Antoinette (Claire Mafféi), a shop assistant. He means to cash it in right away, but his wallet goes missing, and with it the ticket. Jacques Becker follows the couple through a long night of searching, with their small savings, their patience and their hold on each other all at risk.
