Antonia's Line

“A motion picture that celebrates everything you love about life.”

Why does a woman who has just buried her mother stay in a village that hardly notices her? Antonia (Willeke van Ammelrooy) returns after the war with her daughter Danielle (Els Dottermans), inheriting a small farm. Marleen Gorris follows the household as it fills with neighbors and children over the years, and Antonia and Danielle, two women who share a table and a history, become each other's steadiest ground.
