Anything Goes

(1956)Directed by Robert Lewis106 min · GComedy

Bill Benson (Bing Crosby) and Ted Adams (Donald O'Connor) are partners in a Broadway show, and both want the right woman for the female lead. Each finds her in Paris, Bill in Gaby Duval (Zizi Jeanmaire), Ted in Patsy Blair (Mitzi Gaynor), and each promises her the part without telling the other. Robert Lewis puts them all aboard one ocean liner bound for New York, where two women who were each told the job is theirs are about to find out only one can have it.
