Apostasy

Ivanna (Siobhan Finneran), a devout Jehovah's Witness, is told by the elders that she must stop speaking to her own sister, who has crossed a line the congregation will not forgive. Daniel Kokotajlo follows her through the weeks that follow, with Luisa (Sacha Parkinson) and Alex (Molly Wright) living under the same rules in the same house. Elder Brian (James Quinn) comes by, the family sits down to tea, and one place stays empty.
