Approaching the Unknown

In 2016, Captain William Stanaforth (Mark Strong) is alone in a spacecraft on a one-way trip to Mars, the first step in colonising the planet. Luke Wilson plays the voice he hears from Earth, a CapCom called Skinny, and it is the only company the ship offers. Mark Elijah Rosenberg, making his feature debut, keeps the camera inside the cramped cabin with one man, one mission and the long dark between planets.
