April, Come She Will

Shun Fujishiro (Takeru Satoh), a psychiatrist in Tokyo, is days away from marrying his fiancée Yayoi Sakamoto (Masami Nagasawa) when a letter arrives from Haru Iyoda (Nana Mori), a woman he loved a decade earlier. The letter stirs old longing, and then Yayoi vanishes without explanation. Yamada traces the collision of past and present through Tokyo's quiet streets, where what is remembered and what is lived pull in opposite directions.
