April Story

Uzuki Nireno (Takako Matsu) leaves Hokkaido in the spring to start university in Tokyo, and she holds one reason for the move close to herself. Shunji Iwai follows her through her first weeks in the city, as new classmates and strangers start asking what brought her there. It is a quiet story about how long we will carry a feeling for someone before we say it out loud.
