April's Daughters

“A mother's love knows no limits.”

In Puerto Vallarta, seventeen-year-old Valeria (Ana Valeria Becerril) is pregnant and living with her half sister Clara (Joanna Larequi), who is struggling with the money and the weight of a baby on the way. Clara calls their long-absent mother, April (Emma Suárez), against Valeria's wishes, and April arrives ready to help. Michel Franco watches Valeria keep her distance from the woman she never wanted in the house.
