Arabian Nights

(1942)Directed by John Rawlins86 minAction, Adventure
“Dashing Thieves of Baghdad...riding out of the magic and splendor of Arabian Nights”

Nobody can say yet why two half brothers, Haroun-Al-Raschid (Jon Hall) and Kamar (Leif Erickson), are set against each other, except that the throne and one dancing girl are what they both want. Sherazade (Maria Montez) is the dancer, and Ali Ben Ali (Sabu) and Ahmad (Billy Gilbert) are caught up in the contest that follows. John Rawlins films it all in Technicolor, and the film is really about how far a man will go for power and for love.
