Arabian Nights: Volume 2, The Desolate One

In Portugal, on the 470th night of her ordeal, Scheherazade (Crista Alfaiate) tells the king three more tales. A judge (Luísa Cruz) is about to give out a sentence and cries instead, a runaway murderer (Chico Chapas) wanders the land for over forty days, and a wounded cow remembers a thousand-year-old olive tree. Miguel Gomes sets the storyteller against the king who holds her life in his hands, and each night's tale is what keeps her from him.
