Arabian Nights: Volume 3, The Enchanted One

Xerazade (Crista Alfaiate) fears she can no longer keep telling stories to please the King, because what she has left to tell weighs three thousand tonnes. So she slips out of the palace and travels the Kingdom looking for pleasure and enchantment. Miguel Gomes lets her begin again with a tale of Lisbon's shanty towns, where bewitched men teach birds to sing, and she goes on until morning breaks.
