“Power is the best alibi.”

A hole in the books of Robert Miller's trading empire has to stay hidden until the sale goes through. Robert (Richard Gere) is a hedge fund magnate in New York, and he has made an error that forces him to ask help from a person he would never have chosen. Nicholas Jarecki follows him through the sale while Det. Michael Bryer (Tim Roth) starts asking questions, and Robert keeps smiling at his family anyway.
