“Friendship... there's nothing in it for anybody.”

Steve Dallas (Owen Wilson), a womanizing local weatherman, flies home with his off-the-grid best friend Ben Baker (Zach Galifianakis) after Ben's estranged father dies. At the family house, Ben learns he has inherited the fortune, and his formidable sister Terri (Amy Poehler) and his father's 25-year-old widow are both waiting. Matthew Weiner sets a friendship against the weight of a family that never made room for one of its own.
