Are You Lonesome Tonight?

Wang Xueming (Eddie Peng) hits a pedestrian with his car on a dark night and drives away, then cannot stand the guilt of having done it. He seeks out the dead man's widow, Mrs. Liang (Sylvia Chang), and a strange closeness grows between them as Detective Chen Er (Wang Yanhui) works the case. Shipei Wen sets it all among people who are alone, and no one here can say what they are owed.
