A warehouse job goes wrong, and the two security guards sent to watch it start to see that the company and its union are not what they seem. Frank Dooley (John Candy) is an ex-cop who lost his badge after being framed for theft, and Norman Kane (Eugene Levy) is a former defense lawyer who was never much good at it. Mark L. Lester puts the pair on the Los Angeles streets together, the big, rumpled cop and the nervous lawyer who talks too fast.
