Armored Car Robbery
“The stick-up that stunned the nation!”
Nobody can say yet who planned the Los Angeles armored car job, only that a policeman, Lt. Phillips, is shot dead while the money disappears. His partner, Lt. Cordell (Charles McGraw), goes after the crew, and it points him toward Dave Purvis (William Talman) and his mistress Yvonne (Adele Jergens). Richard Fleischer keeps the picture short and moving, running it at the speed of the manhunt itself.
