Arthur Newman

“If you don't have a life, get someone else's.”

Wayne Gale (Colin Firth) wants out of a life that has gone nowhere, so he fakes his death and takes the name Arthur Newman, a former golfer with a job waiting in the Midwest. Dante Ariola follows him down the road, where he crosses paths with Mike (Emily Blunt), a restless young woman who is also running from her past. Two people try on new lives, and the film is about how little a different name changes.
