As I Lay Dying

“From the classic novel by William Faulkner”

Addie Bundren is dead, and her family has to carry her to the town where she asked to be buried, two days off by horse and wagon through Mississippi. Darl (James Franco) rides with his brothers Jewel (Logan Marshall-Green) and Cash (Jim Parrack) and his sister Dewey Dell (Ahna O'Reilly), all of them poor and each with a different reason for wanting to reach town. Franco, adapting Faulkner's 1930 novel, splits the screen and gives the family's voices room to overlap.
