As in Heaven

Lise (Flora Ofelia Hofmann Lindahl) is fourteen, the eldest of her siblings and the first in her family to go to school, when her mother Anna (Ida Cæcilie Rasmussen) goes into labour at the end of the 1800s. Tea Lindeburg keeps the story to a single day that turns into a single night, as it becomes clear the labour is going wrong. The day began in childhood, and Lise stands in the dark of the house, beginning to understand she may be the woman of it by morning.
