As Tears Go By

Wah (Andy Lau) is a mid-level gangster in Hong Kong who wants one quiet thing, to be closer to his cousin Ngor (Maggie Cheung Man-yuk). He can't have it while he keeps cleaning up after Fly (Jacky Cheung Hok-yau), the volatile friend he has promised to protect. In his debut, Wong Kar-wai sets the loyalty of men who share a trade against a love that has no place in it.
