Ask the Dust

“Trapped by passion. Faced by their dreams.”

Arturo Bandini (Colin Farrell), the son of Italian immigrants, wants to make it as a writer and to have a blue-eyed blonde on his arm while he does it. Then he meets Camilla Lopez (Salma Hayek Pinault), a Mexican waitress who is looking for a wealthy American husband and has no use for a broke one. Robert Towne sets their sparring in a Los Angeles of rented rooms, and each of them keeps wanting someone else.
