Asterix and Obelix Take On Caesar

“The Gauls are revolting!”

How does one small village in Gaul keep holding off the Roman army in 50 B.C.? A potion brewed by the Druids, which turns ordinary villagers into mighty fighters. Then Caesar and his aide Detritus (Roberto Benigni) carry off Panoramix (Claude Piéplu), the Druid who knows the formula, and Claude Zidi sends Astérix (Christian Clavier) and Obélix (Gérard Depardieu) after him. The pair set out on the rescue the way they do everything, arguing the whole way.
