Asterix the Gaul

Asterix (Roger Carel) lives in the one Gaulish village in 50 BC that the Roman legions still can't take, and he'd like to keep it that way. Its strength comes from the druid Panoramix (Lucien Raimbourg) and his magic potion, until a Roman centurion kidnaps the old man to get the formula out of him. Ray Goossens draws the village in flat, bright cartoon colors, close to the look of the comic book it follows.
