Asylum

“Passion. Possession.”

Stella Raphael (Natasha Richardson) moves with her husband Max (Hugh Bonneville) and their young son into the grounds of a secure psychiatric hospital, where Max has taken a post. Soon she can't stop thinking about one of the inmates, Edgar Stark, a sculptor convicted of murdering and disfiguring his wife. David Mackenzie builds the film around what draws Stella to him, and what it does to her marriage.
