“How far will you go to chase a dream?”

An investigation into the Whipple family's business has begun to close in, and Henry (Dennis Quaid), a farmer set on expanding his empire, would rather talk about land and seed than admit it. His son Dean (Zac Efron) wants no part of the farm and keeps his eyes on a career as a race car driver. Ramin Bahrani films the fields and the family dinners with the same flat, unhurried attention.
