At Long Last Love

“It's the top!”

Michael Pritchard (Burt Reynolds) is a wealthy playboy who nearly runs down the stage star Kitty O'Kelly (Madeline Kahn) with his own car. Peter Bogdanovich sets Cole Porter's songs around two couples, Michael and Kitty beside the heiress Brooke Carter (Cybill Shepherd) and the gambler Johnny Spanish, who meet at the race track and do the town together. At a party each of them switches partners, and every kiss becomes a way to make someone else jealous.
