Atatürk 1881 - 1919

The film begins with Mustafa Kemal (Aras Bulut İynemli) as a boy, then follows him into a military career that starts in the final years of the Ottoman Empire. His mother Zübeyde (Songül Öden) and his father Ali Rıza (Mehmet Günsür) shape the child, and officers like Enver Paşa (Sarp Akkaya) wait further down the road. Director Mehmet Ada Öztekin tells it as a two-part epic, covering 1881 to 1919 in the manner of a historical drama.
