“A New American Story”

Four friends in Atlanta are finishing their last year of high school, and each of them is about to meet a turning point that changes where they end up. Rashad (T.I.) and New New (Lauren London) are two of them, and much of what happens plays out at Cascade, the local roller rink. Chris Robinson, a music video director making his first feature, keeps the film mostly about the bond between Rashad and Ant (Evan Ross).
