Atlantic City

“Where dreamers can be winners.”

A deal tied to drugs and money has landed in the lap of Lou (Burt Lancaster), a small-time gangster in a corrupt city, and it arrives through Sally (Susan Sarandon), the estranged wife of a pot dealer. Louis Malle puts the two of them into a mess of love, money and danger that neither saw coming. Under all of it is the plain wish of two people to be somebody other than who they have been.
