Attack Force Z

A plane has gone down in the South Pacific in the middle of the war, and Captain Kelly (Mel Gibson) leads a small squad of Australian commandos in to find the survivors. Among them is a defecting Japanese official who may hold the key to peace, and Tim Burstall keeps the squad moving in grainy, hard-edged jungle patrols. The one thing Kelly and Lieutenant Veitch (John Phillip Law) share is a task neither can leave.
