Simone (Pascale Bussières) walks away from a car accident without a scratch, and the photo model decides her empty life needs a baby to mean anything. She asks her best friend Philippe (Alexis Martin) to father it, and he agrees on one condition: they conceive somewhere in a desert. In his first feature, Denis Villeneuve sends the two on a 24-hour round trip from Montréal toward Salt Lake City.
