Augustine

Augustine (Soko) is nineteen, a kitchen maid who collapses mid-service with a seizure that leaves one side of her body paralyzed, and she is sent to Professor Charcot's hospital in Belle Époque France. Charcot (Vincent Lindon) puts her at the center of his hypnosis demonstrations, and Alice Winocour lets the room keep its eyes on her. The patient being studied begins to study him back, and Augustine starts to want his attention for herself, not for his experiments.
