Aunt Alejandra

“Aunt Alejandra can cast a spell. Lucia's fury could kill.”

Nobody can say why the household starts to come apart once Aunt Alejandra (Isabela Corona) moves in. Lucia (Diana Bracho) and Rodolfo (Manuel Ojeda) have a family, and the old woman's arrival brings a run of nightmarish events that put it at risk. Arturo Ripstein keeps it all inside one house, where a family can turn out to be the thing you cannot get away from.
