Aurora

“The dead will find their way home”

Leana (Anne Curtis) lives on an island where the passenger ship Aurora has smashed into the rocks offshore. She and her younger sister set out to find the dead who are still missing, because each body found brings a bounty. Yam Laranas, who also wrote the film, keeps the camera slow and the dread tightly wound, loosely inspired by the 1987 Doña Paz disaster.
