Aurore
Aurore Gagnon (Marianne Fortier) is a ten-year-old in a small Quebec town who loses her mother and comes under the roof of her father Télésphore (Serge Postigo) and her stepmother Marie-Anne (Hélène Bourgeois Leclerc). The stepmother is disturbed, and the abuse begins in the household while the townspeople around the family stay quiet. Luc Dionne, remaking a 1952 film, builds this true story from one of Quebec's best-known cases of child abuse.
