Autumn in New York

“He fell in love for the first time. She fell in love forever.”

Will Keane (Richard Gere) is a Manhattan restaurateur who has built a comfortable life out of short affairs and never staying long. Then he meets Charlotte Fielding (Winona Ryder), a free-spirited young woman, and the arrangement he has kept for years stops working. Joan Chen follows the two of them through a passionate affair, each one pushing the other to ask what they actually want.
