Autumn Marathon

Andrei Buzykin (Oleg Basilashvili) is a middle-aged university professor who moves between his wife Nina (Natalya Gundareva) and his mistress Alla (Marina Neyolova). He tells each of them small lies to keep the arrangement quiet, and the lies need more lies to hold them up. Georgiy Daneliya follows him through the autumn as the excuses pile up, toward a day when none of it can be kept apart.
