Nick (Sam Gittins) brings his girlfriend Kate (Holly Weston) home for Christmas, to a house of bickering relatives and his bigoted Grandad (David Bradley). They wake on Christmas morning to find a black substance sealing every door and window, and the television shows one line: "Stay Indoors and Await Further Instructions." Johnny Kevorkian keeps them in the living room, where each order from the screen costs the family more.
