Babar: The Movie

“A feature-length adventure that's fit for a king!”

King Babar (Gordon Pinsent) is telling his children a story, and it takes him back to a time when rhinoceroses came raiding and nobody could say why they wanted the village. Alan Bunce tells it as a flashback, with the young Babar and Celeste (Elizabeth Hanna) working out how to protect the people she grew up among. Their friendship is what carries the story, a young elephant and his girlfriend, standing together while the village depends on them.
