“Friendship is a mother.”

Eden (Ilana Glazer) learns she is pregnant after a one-night stand, and the first person she tells is her married best friend, Dawn (Michelle Buteau). Dawn already has two kids and a house that never stops moving, and she takes Eden on as her next project, from the doctor's office onward. Pamela Adlon, in her feature debut, sets the two women on the couch in Dawn's crowded home.
