“The Show That's Out Of This World”

Tommy Williams (Mickey Rooney) and Penny Morris (Judy Garland) are starstruck teenagers who want a stage and keep finding every door closed to them. So they decide to put on a show themselves and raise the money to send kids from the neighborhood to a summer camp. Busby Berkeley directs the third of the "Backyard Musical" pictures, with Vincente Minnelli staging Garland's big solo numbers.
