The world has broken down in post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe, and Toorop (Vin Diesel), a veteran turned mercenary, takes a job nobody else wants. He is to deliver Aurora (Mélanie Thierry), a young woman with a secret, to New York City. Mathieu Kassovitz sets the crossing against a clock, since the people who made Aurora are not the only ones who want her.
