Back Roads

Harley Altmyer (Alex Pettyfer) wants to keep his three younger sisters together and fed in the Pennsylvania backwoods, after their mother is sent to prison for killing their abusive father. When he starts an affair with Callie Mercer (Jennifer Morrison), a married woman, old family secrets begin to surface. In his first film as director, Pettyfer keeps the focus on Harley and his sister Amber (Nicola Peltz Beckham), two people tied by what they carry.
