Back to Black

“Her music. Her life. Her legacy.”

Amy Winehouse (Marisa Abela) is a young Camden singer who writes about her own life, and her songs are already too big for the pubs and small rooms she plays. Sam Taylor-Johnson follows her from those early days to the making of Back to Black, the album that carried her to global fame, with her father Mitch (Eddie Marsan) close by. At the center is her love for Blake (Jack O'Connell), and the fame that grows alongside it could cost her both.
