Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is a 1985 teenager who ends up in 1955 after a DeLorean built by his friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) sends him there by accident. Robert Zemeckis puts him in the same town as his parents, where Marty steps in just as his father, George (Crispin Glover), was supposed to meet his mother. Now Lorraine (Lea Thompson) is looking at the wrong McFly, and Marty has to get her back to the boy she was meant for.
