Back to the Planet of the Apes

“They're taking over.”

Astronauts Alan Virdon (Ron Harper) and Pete Burke (James Naughton) crash on Earth in the far future and are captured by apes. A chimp named Galen (Roddy McDowall) helps them break out, and the three go on the run through an ape-ruled countryside. Arnold Laven and Don Weis cut this from two episodes of the 1974 series, and the men push toward a computer in an earthquake-threatened city, hoping its records will show them the way home.
