Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Mike Lowrey (Will Smith), Miami detectives with a decade of cases behind them, are chasing a drug pipeline flooding the city with ecstasy. They move through the investigation with the ease of partners who finish each other's sentences, cracking jokes between the violence. What matters most to them, in the end, is that they still have each other in the wreckage.
