Bad Education

A young man named Ángel (Gael García Bernal) turns up at the office of the filmmaker Enrique Goded (Fele Martínez) with a script about their boyhood at a Catholic boarding school. Pedro Almodóvar moves between the pages Enrique reads and the life he is living, until the story inside the script and the story around it are hard to tell apart. Beneath the plot is a plain fact: what priests did to children in a classroom does not stay in the past.
