“Possessed with sex, they know no shame!”

Ellen Green (Gigi Darlene), a homemaker, runs to the Big City after killing the man who attacked her. Doris Wishman follows her through a string of bad luck until she settles under a new name and finds some peace. Then she learns her landlady, Mrs. Thornton (Gertrude Cross), has a son who is a detective, and that safety rests on one thin lie.
