“The road to prom can be a big hairy mess.”

On prom night at her high school, sixteen-year-old Monica Reeves (Laura Marano) is running for Prom Queen, and her hair has turned into a tangle from too many products. Then Liz Morgan (Leigh-Allyn Baker) shows up at the door, hunting a $7 million diamond necklace that Monica has somehow ended up holding. Érik Canuel sends the two across the city after a jewel thief, and Monica could lose the crown or much worse.
